I. Test Environment and Equipment
- Test Environment: Indoor, temperature 25°C, humidity 50% RH, dust-free and windless.
- Test Equipment:
- IP54-rated inverter sample
- Water spraying device (simulating splashing water)
- Power supply and load equipment
- Monitoring equipment such as ammeter, voltmeter, etc.
II. Test Steps
- Install the inverter sample on the test bench, ensuring stable connections and normal use status.
- Use the water spraying device to simulate splashing water from different directions (front, back, left, right, top) of the inverter, with each direction sprayed for no less than 5 minutes.
- During the spraying process, use monitoring equipment to record key parameters such as the inverter's input voltage, output voltage, current, etc., and observe whether the inverter exhibits any abnormalities.
- After the spraying test, leave the inverter sample for a period of time (at least 2 hours) to simulate the natural drying process.
- Re-inspect the inverter's appearance to ensure no water residue remains, and re-measure its performance parameters to confirm its normal operation.

III. Test Results
- During the spraying test, the inverter sample showed no abnormalities, including shorts, breaks, overheating, etc.
- After the spraying test, the inverter sample's appearance remained dry, with no water residue.
- Before and after the spraying test, the inverter's performance parameters did not change significantly, with key parameters such as output voltage and current remaining within the normal range.
IV. Conclusion
After this waterproof test, it can be confirmed that the IP54-rated inverter sample has good waterproof performance, resisting splashing water from any direction and maintaining normal operation in humid or watery environments. The test results indicate that the inverter meets the waterproof requirements of the IP54 rating standard.
